There are several missions, for each mission your team will conduct deep underground mining.
You are required to collect energy crystals and Lego ores to expand the mining operation. By collecting energy crystals, you can upgrade buildings and vehicles. After the first mission, you will have to complete the other missions to unlock them. At each mission, you will have to gather a specific number of energy crystals that will eventually rise as you reach the next mission. Furthermore, to Support the player, you can search for training missions on the main menu.
There are eight training missions where you can learn how to control. As easy as it may sound, but it is not because, the game comes up with the number of obstacles in its way. There will be monsters, natural disasters like landslides, eroding lava and cave-ins.
Besides, you will have to save trapped rock raiders and energy crystals from monsters eating it away. The mission will only end once you have completed all the objectives of it.

In both the games, a team of miners searches for energy crystals and discovers monsters. However, Power Miners have introduced some upgrades in terms of a variety of colored vehicles, powerful thunder driller, better rock monsters, and new natural disasters.
Also, the graphics are better than the Rock Raiders. However, here are some of the points that still make Lego Rock Raiders much better than Power Miners. These are some of the downsides, which other real-time strategy games cater but lack in Lego Rock Raiders.
